The College Women's Club of Dayton, Ohio
President's Message: 2018 - 2019
The College Women’s Club was organized in 1907 by the first two women physicians in this area, Dr. Gertrude Felker and Dr. Elenora Everhard, as a place for college-educated women to meet for friendship and educational discussions. The College Women’s Club is unchanged today in that we meet once a month to renew old friendships and develop new friendships with many amazing women. Each month there is a luncheon followed by a guest speaker. Previous interesting topics have been presented by a juvenile court judge, an award-winning chef, a manager of a local food bank, a pharmacist, a manager of a radio station, and the conductor of a Harp Ensemble. All our speakers have been interesting and left us with a message of … “Can I do this?” Many speakers show that there are opportunities for service to our communities. All college-educated women are invited to join us for a wonderful afternoon. Terrie Koss, CWC President (2018 - 2019) |
