Program: The Value of Farms and Farm Animals
Speaker: Carriage Hill Metro Park Staff
Sassy, Sunny, Hank, and the other horses who call Carriage Hill Metro Park their home contribute to the visitors' education on how horses helped on a working farm in the 1880's until the present. People have relied on horses for many years in farm history. The horses at Carriage Hill help visitors, both children and adults, learn to appreciate the value of farm animals. There are also many acres of natural beauty to enjoy, as well as a horseback riding center. It's a wonderful experience to take your children and for teachers to take their classes for an educational and fun field trip!
