​    The Beaver Creek Wetlands

A handful of volunteers gathered around Jane Henry's kitchen table in 1988 and so began the Beaver Creek Wetlands Association. These 8 or 9 people were asked to work together to help protect the wetlands along the Beaver Creek and the Little Beaver Creek area. The Beaver Creek Wetlands Association is a 501(c)3 land trust working to protect and restore wetlands and other natural areas in the Beaver Creek Watershed, Greene County, Ohio area. Their vision has grown to include well over 1,500 volunteers and workers maintaining and caring for over 1,800 acres of protected wetland today.
