     "A Real Vietnam Nurse"

Speaker:
     Abby Auclair

Many of us have read The Women, an historical fiction novel honoring the women Veterans of the Vietnam War, written by Kristin Hannah. During the Vietnam War, Abby Auclair was a real-life nurse in Vietnam, often referred to as one of the "Angels from Heaven" for their selfless dedication and bravery in caring for the wounded soldiers on the front lines. The Vietnam War ended 50 years ago on April 30, 1975.  Abby will bring stories of her time in Vietnam and how that war changed the lives of many people. Fiction will become a real-life experience.
