Linda Strite Murnane is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel. She will speak about her experiences serving on active duty in the United States Air Force, beginning in 1974 at a time when women were not permitted to have children, and how that impacted career opportunities for women. She will share how this inspired work she did while in the Air Force, as a judge, and when she went on to work as the Executive Director of the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights and then with the United Nations.
