The College Women's Club of Dayton, Ohio
The purpose of our organization is to draw together alumnae of institutions of higher learning and to foster an interest in higher education. We have four levels of membership: Active members, Associate members, Honorary life members, and Non-resident members.
Typically we have monthly meetings at 11:30 a.m. on the first Mondays of the months from October through December and February through May. We also have a luncheon on a Saturday in June at a local country club. There are programs at each of these luncheons, as well as meetings. Monthly newsletters and our website provide the details of our club. |
Our organization has a number of Study Groups which members are encouraged to join; these foster further interest in certain areas and provide venues for members to get to know each other better.
We provide scholarships to women in need of assistance for higher education; we also provide scholarships to various organizations that foster interest in the arts and sciences for our Dayton Metropolitan area students in grades K - 12.
