Program: Textiles from Bhutan by Diana R. Nelson

Diana Nelson holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Rochester, N.Y. and a Certificate in Genealogy from Boston University. She lives outside of Clifton with her husband of 52 years, Michael. Diana’s hobbies include weaving, spinning, cross stitch, genealogy, sailing and gardening. She and
Michael have also traveled a lot. She will be speaking about a trip they made to Bhutan in 2011, including photos and textiles she collected on the trip. Bhutan is a fascinating country with some remarkable handwoven textiles. |
