Charlynda Scales is a serial entrepreneur and servant leader. She is the founder of Mutt's Sauce LLC, a line of sauces she created to honor her grandfather's legacy. She is also the Executive Director of the OH Taste Foundation (501c3) which is building the "Six Triple Eight" 6888 Kitchen Incubator, inside the historic Dayton Arcade.

Charlynda is a sought-after motivational speaker and coach for small business owners. Her talent is cultivating influential people by meeting them where they are in life and business. Her military career spans over fifteen years; she's currently an Air Force Reservist stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
Mutt's Sauce and Charlynda have been featured in Yahoo! Finance, NPR, Forbes.com, QVC, Men's Journal, CBS News, Black Enterprise Magazine, and Military.com, among others. Daymond John, Founder of FUBU and Shark Tank investor featured Charlynda's story in his bestselling book, POWERSHIFT.

Charlynda is a Clemson University graduate with a degree in Aerospace Science and Business Management. She also holds an MBA in Strategic Leadership. She started Mutt’s Sauce, LLC while still serving on active duty in the military. Charlynda currently sits on the National Board of Directors for Bunker Labs, Arnold Air and Silver Wings, and Veterans for Political Innovation; she serves on the Board of Trustees for the Dayton Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Dayton Chamber of Commerce. She is a Girl Scout Gold Award Winner. Recently, she became 1 of 25 Americans highlighted as "We Are the Mighty's Class of 2022" and Dayton Business Journal's 40 under 40.

Her son, David, is, in her opinion, her finest achievement.
